Gameplay Bug

If you think something's gone wrong during gameplay then please use the ''Report A Bug" option in the game menu. Please send the zip file that will be generated in the following location: Windows: %userprofile%\\appdata\\LocalLow\\Codebyfire Ltd\\The Colonists\\BugReports (Open Windows Explorer and paste into the address bar)

Linux (usually): /home/[username]/.config/unity3d/Codebyfire Ltd/The Colonists/BugReports

Crash Bug

If the game freezes or crashes to desktop unexpectedly please first try checking that your graphics drivers are up to date as well as any Windows Updates.

If the problem persists then please send over any files in the following locations: %userprofile%\\appdata\\Local\\CrashDumps %userprofile%\\appdata\\Local\\Temp\\Codebyfire Ltd\\The Colonists\\Crashes %userprofile%\\appdata\\LocalLow\\Codebyfire Ltd\\The Colonists\\Crashes

Problem Opening The Game

If the game doesn't open at all, or progress past the loading screen then:

1. First try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
2. If the game is crashing upon opening check whether you have Citrix Workspace installed and uninstall it if so.
3. If you have Comodo installed, check this thread for sandboxing issues: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/617328967248066054/
4. If the problem persists, please send the output_log.txt file from: %userprofile%\appdata\LocalLow\Codebyfire Ltd\The Colonists and any files in the three crash locations above.

Can't Load A Saved Game

Please send the savegame file in question. Files are located here: %userprofile%\\appdata\\LocalLow\\Codebyfire Ltd\\The Colonists\\SaveGames
